While it is important for you to know that I love you, it is also important for you to understand that I am lazy and tired. This being said, I’m sorry if my last Taiwan blog post is kind of lame, I am literally just going to copy some of my journal entries for my travel days in Kenting and Kaohsiung, and I am so tired that I can’t promise I will proofread it after. A lot of our trip was spent just relaxing and sightseeing and there weren’t many crazy stories, so I think the Reader’s Digest version will be most enjoyable. Here we go!

Whoa, I haven’t written in a long time! Sorry about that! My boss has been telling us this whole time that once May hits, time just speeds up and before you know it the semester is done, but I didn’t really believe him until now. Any chill in the air that we may have experienced in January and February is gone and Taiwan is growing balmier each day. Temperature-wise it isn’t really hot, but the sunshine and humidity make it feel pretty warm. The forecast is showing showers all week, so I am looking forward to a little bit of cloudiness! 2/27/2015 0 Comments Chinese New Year!Nǐ hǎo!
I have had an incredible time over the past two weeks as we have celebrated Chinese New Year and Peace Day here in Taiwan! I wish I could share all of the stories of our festivities but I don’t think I’d ever stop writing, so I will just pick my favorites instead. 2/8/2015 1 Comment Riding in Cars With... Police?
1/18/2015 1 Comment Taiwan: Take One![]() Nǐ hǎo! It is so weird to think that I’ve only been in Taiwan for three weeks now. In some ways it feels so natural that it’s like I’ve been here forever! That’s definitely not to say that there haven’t been some new and surprising experiences, though. To begin, Feng Yuan is so different from the US and Europe! Obviously. I knew it would be, but being here has just shown me how incredibly different cultures can |
